AS IT WAS: WORKS BY TAMARA ZIBNERS
“I play with photography and imagery in my artworks, abstracting, destructing, constructing colorful forms and shapes. Make it, crush it, make it again. Material choices confuse the work’s sense of meaning, resulting in art objects that defy delicacy and esteem.” Featuring Zibners’ work from her most recent Hold You series, and her earlier series, Mimi’s Diary and How Bad Can it Get. The artist will perform a short set of original music from her album, Sentimental Life Makers, at 6pm.
