Rock • Paper • Canvas offers four unique visions of abstraction through paintings by Janet Bothne, Joseph Riggs, and Bill Sabatini (aka Triple-Take Art Group), joined by sculptor Mark M. Feldman. The artists present their newest and best works in N4th Gallery, along with an ancillary exhibit featuring each artist’s “origins” story in Gallery X. The show offers insights into how and why these artists create what they do and invites the viewer to share in their enthusiasm for abstract art.

We have many enticing ways to get you excited about donating:  As always we have Open Figure Drawing Sessions every Wednesday from 6:30- 9:30. We will have a guided Figure Drawing session led by @artofvesaenz on Tuesday, April 18th at 6:30. Next (Over)ripe will premiere dinner and a movie on April 21st, gathering at 7:00. Finally, the month will wrap up with a two-part auction event of @ariellereneeart's work at 4pm on 28th and 29th -- all of this to the backdrop of Cave Paintings by Arielle Renee, while in a cave, these paintings are also jubilant with rococo spring PINK! Meet the Artist: Painting Demonstration with Carla Forrest

Kickstand Café and Carla Forrest Fine Art present Pathways, contemporary landscape paintings depicting Albuquerque’s splendid open space and trails. The show features original artworks by Carla Forrest, which appeal to our mountain biking, hiking, and outdoor adventurists. Meet the artist during a free painting demonstration on Wednesday, April 19th, 1-3 pm. Explore Pathways through April 30th with works rotated regularly.
