HERSTORY
herstory/noun/ -- history viewed from a female or specifically feminist perspective with a special attention to the experience of women
Ghostwolf is excited to present work from the HERSTORY collective. Herstory, founded by Julianna Kirwin, Michele Korte, and Ilene Weiss focuses on street style imagery and is dedicated to creating portraits of influential women living and passed. They share these images in public spaces around Albuquerque. The women included reflect each artist’s particular desire to hold up their chosen subject's life and amplify their impact. Portraits include those of figures such as Deb Haaland, Malala, Georgia O'Keefe, & Dolores Huerta. Join us in celebrating the artists AND the legacies of the women they seek to elevate!
