The Albuquerque Art Business Association (AABA) is honored to present the 2019 Local Treasures with a reception 1 p.m on Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Sherri Brueggemann, director of the Albuquerque Public Art Program, will be the Local Treasures master of ceremonies. For the 12th year, the Albuquerque Art Business Association will honor area artists who not only excel in the arts, but who have given back to their communities. By sharing their time, talent and passion, they help develop a whole new generation of art lovers and artists and ensure that New Mexico will continue to be home to the thousands of working artists for many years to come. The 2019 recipients are Vicki Bolen, Joy Brinkley-Hill, Carol Carpenter, Joel Davis, Amy M. Ditto, Carol Estes-Nowlin, Tricia Love, and Carol Sanchez! Congratulations to all!
