Regular hours 10-5 daily
A “Kaleidoscope” of color and form is the exciting reality of Amapola Gallery’s Featured Artists for March. Elzbieta Kaleta’s paper art and photographs, and Carol Lutz’s vibrant glass creations, shift and dance in the lucky viewer’s eye. Like a kaleidoscope, Elzbieta Kaleta and Carol Lutz create organic wholes from myriad bits and pieces and color that breaks and repeats—symmetry from fragments. The exhibit runs for the entire month of March.

Colleen Z Gregoire: Where the Heart Is
Join us for a painting demonstration by the artist at noon on March 2. Gallery hours: 10 am to 2 pm. Gregoire’s paintings are inspired by a sense of home – defined by the house we live in or the landscape we wake up to. These recent works celebrate a range of settings, narratives and emotions.

Saturday, March 8th (1-3pm)
Roger Evans: The Lighter Side of Art
March 4-30
Roger Evans is known for placing animals in iconic social settings – a kind of “Far Side” cartoon in three dimensions. He uses animals to express human foibles in a way that bypasses assumptions related to race, class, sex, age and other human markers. Sometimes, it’s serious, sometimes it’s just for fun which is the focus of Evans’ March exhibit. Artist reception Saturday, March 8, 1-3 pm.
