Albuquerque Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2005 with her current apprentice and her mentor Nancy Kozikowski to showcase this form of knowledge transmission. She has served on the selection committee for the Public Art sculpture Serpentina at the Albuquerque Airport and her tapestries are regularly donated for benefit shows.
In September 2008 Donna will be exhibiting at Arts Alliance Gallery along with John Garrett and Susan Skinner. The three artists, a weaver, sculptor and jeweler, randomly exchanged materials of equal value they purchased at local thrift and salvage stores. Their challenge was to use all of the items, supplementing them only with connective materials (glue, nails, thread, rivets, etc.) from their studios. The results are humorous, surreal, provocative and unexpected.
