Located just south of Central Avenue in the heart of the University district, the Outpost provides a no-nonsense, community-based performing arts center. They present over 100 shows a year plus classes and educational programs, all kinds of jazz, folk, blues and roots music, experimental music, classical, international, poetry and spoken word and much more – by both local and touring artists.
