New Grounds Print Workshop & Gallery, located in Albuquerque’s Upper Nob Hill, features work by outstanding New Mexican artists and a selected group of well-known international printmakers from Europe, Japan and Mexico.
With more than 40 artists represented by the galley, subject matters and styles range from contemporary to traditional with hundreds of framed and unframed works to choose from. Exhibitions rotate every four to six weeks with a First Friday Artscrawl reception.
The non-toxic printmaking facility offers artists year-round classes and affordable press access on either hourly or membership basis. New Grounds received a Bravos Award for Outstanding Arts Organization in 2005 recognizing that a privately funded enterprise can serve the community with and education and artistic venue.
