November 2009 First Friday Artscrawl, Citywide, November 6 Northeast Heights Artscrawl, November 20 Etchings by Suzanne Marshall at New Grounds Gallery (www.newgroundsprintshop.com) opens First Friday and runs through November 28. Paintings by Susan Reid at Matrix Fine Art (www.matrixfineart.com) through November 28. Albuquerque doll maker Ruth Morris returns to Sumner & Dene (www.sumnerdene.com) in November. There is an opening reception First Friday, November 6. Paper Cuttings by William Kleinschmit continue to exhibit at AIA Gallery (www.aiaabq.org) as part of the Architect as Artist series. Chroma Studios & Gallery (www.chromastudios.wordpress.com) hosts its annual Silent Auction for Roadrunner Food Bank First Friday. Enjoy an intimate concert on November 20. Weems Galleries (www.weemsgallery.com) announce Carolyn Lankford at their Old Town Location November 6-30 with Alan and Nancy Young opening at Louisiana Plaza November 7. November 13-15 is the renowned Weems International Artfest at Expo NM (Fairgrounds). Watercolors from the Art for the Soul Group will be at Fisher Gallery through November. The New Mexico Gourd Society will exhibit at Arts Alliance Gallery (www.abqarts.org) October 30-November 23. Palette Contemporary Art and Craft (www.palettecontemporary.com) presents Pam Conrad with acrylic and wood intarsia paintings. Show opens with an Artscrawl reception November 20 and closes December 24. Weyrich Gallery (www.weyrichgallery.com) opens its annual show of Porcelain by Students of the Arita Method on First Friday evening. Show closes November 19 and is followed by the 27th Annual Theme Invitational Group Show which runs through December 31.
